Windows 2000 Statement

This document describes how Windows 2000 currently works with Axis’ storage products and the plans for the future. 

StorPoint CD E100 and CD+

Current firmware:

When installed in a Windows 2000 domain, the StorPoint automatically joins Active Directory. Both native and mixed mode domains are supported.

StorPoint CD E4 (all Ethernet versions) and NAS 100

Current firmware:

Does not support Windows 2000.

Future:

No firmware upgrade to support Windows 2000 will be made available.  Customers will have to upgrade to a StorPoint CD+ if support  for Windows 2000 is required. 

StorPoint CD E4 (all Token Ring versions)

Current firmware:

Windows 2000 is not supported.
