Setting the IP Address     Screen shot

  1. Click Set - The IP setting dialog will appear.
  2. Enter the IP address in the IP Address field.
  3. In the Subnet Mask field, enter the subnet mask used for determining when the traffic should be sent via a router. The subnet mask, combined with the IP address identifies on which network the Axis server is located.
  4. In the Default Gateway field, enter the IP address for the default gateway. All traffic directed outside the local network is sent to the default gateway. Any re-routing via other routers is done automatically. The setting 0.0.0.0 indicates that no default router is set.
  5. Note: A field must contain a complete IP address, Subnet Mask or Default Gateway or it must be left completely empty. If a field is left empty, the server's previous value will not be changed.
  6. In the Password field, enter the Axis server's password.
  7. Click Set to save your settings to the Axis server.
