Discontinued products
The method to use for upgrading your Axis print server to the latest software version depends on what type of memory your print server is equipped with (Flash memory or EPROM memory), and also on your current software version. Use the table below to find a suitable method.

Use the File Transfer Protocol (FTP)
AXIS NetPilot
AXIS NetPilot (version 1.30 or higher) uses the IPX protocol
(NetWare). An Upgrade Wizard will guide you through the necessary
steps.
Cable
AXIS Flash Loading Kit
Upgrade through the parallel port. Use AXIS Flash Loading Kit part no:
0041-4 (special cable and a Centronics adapter) or part no: 15147
(special cable and power board). Contact your local reseller or
distributor for further information. The kit can be ordered from your
local reseller / distributor or from Axis.
Replace EPROM
The EPROM chip(s) must be physically replaced (authorized personnel
only!).
