Support information

Axis offers different levels of support for development using Axis' System-on-Chips & Device servers.

1: Axis Developer WIKI - the world-wide developer community

The Axis Developer WIKI includes information that relates to development using the ETRAX chip family. It is an area hosted by Axis Communications where all ETRAX developers are encouraged to contribute, making the WIKI increasingly rich in content over time.

2: dev-etrax@axis.com mailing list

Please send questions on technical matters regarding development using Axis System-on-Chips or device servers to the dev-etrax@axis.com mailing list.
It is an open mailing list for developers using ETRAX-based products. All list subscribers can read and post to the list. Consequently both Axis employees and other ETRAX developers can answer your questions. Note that there are no guaranties to receive an answer. However, Axis employees will try to answer as many questions as possible.

To join the mailing list, send an email to majordomo@axis.com with "subscribe dev-etrax@axis.com" in the body of the e-mail.
To send a message to the list send the message to dev-etrax@axis.com using the same e-mail address as you did when you subscribed.
To unsubscribe from the dev-etrax mailing list send an email to majordomo@axis.com with "unsubscribe dev-etrax" in the body of the mail or "unsubscribe dev-etrax e_mail_address" if you are using a different e-mail address than the one you used when you subscribed.

Notes:

The language on the list is English only.
Postings to the list should be in "plain text",
i.e., no HTML formatted mail.
If you help other people, they might be more inclined to help you.
Before posting to the list, it's a good idea to look through the archive of old postings:

Since the archive is extensive, the recommended way of finding what you are looking for is to use a search engine, for example Google. In the Google search field, you specify the web site to search:
"site:mhonarc.axis.se/dev-etrax/ <your query>".

3: Online Helpdesk

Axis Online Helpdesk handles specific support issues or questions of a more confidential nature that cannot be posted to the dev-etrax mailing list.
Note: To open a support case, you will need to register in the MyAxis database. For product category, please select "System-on-Chips & Device Servers".
