LED indicators and messages

Normal conditions:

The front panel indicators show the status of the StorPoint CD. The indicators have the following functions:

  • Status - Flashes during startup. When the StorPoint CD is ready for use, the light goes out. The LED remains off, unless an error condition occurs.
  • SCSI - Flashes to indicate activity on the SCSI bus.
  • Network - Flashes to indicate the presence of network traffic.
  • Power - Indicates that power is connected to the StorPoint CD. This LED should always remain lit and is only used to indicate power is present in the StorPoint unit.
