Axis software applications

Most of Axis software applications have Windows 7 support. Below you will find detailed information regarding each application.

AXIS Media Control (AMC)

AXIS Media Control is the ActiveX component used in Internet Explorer. This component is included in the AXIS product firmware but can also be downloaded from the Axis web site and run as an .msi file.

Windows 7 is supported by AXIS Media Control from version 5.6.2.9.

AXIS Camera Station

Windows 7 is supported by AXIS Camera Station from version 3.21.024.

AXIS Camera Management

Windows 7 is supported by AXIS Camera Management from version 2.00.031.

AXIS IP Utility

Windows 7 is supported by AXIS IP Utility from version 2.21.0.4.

No Windows 7 support is planned for Axis applications that are not listed here,
e.g. AXIS CamControl and AXIS Camera Explorer.
