Pelco LRD41C21/LRD41C22

General information

The Pelco LRD41C21/LRD41C22 is a legacy receiver/driver for PTZ units. This receiver/driver can control the motors for pan and tilt movements and the zoom, focus and iris function of a camera. To get a complete system you also need such an unit (see complete system  for an overview of the connections between the different units). This receiver/driver support the "Pelco Digital Coaxitron" protocol, also known as the "D" protocol. For more details, please contact Pelco.

Dip switches settings

Set the DIP-switches SW1 - SW10 as follows:
SW1 - SW8 This corresponds to the value of Identity. The value is binary coded with SW1 as the least significant bit.

SW9, SW10
OFF, OFF = 2400 baud.
ON,  OFF = 4800 baud.
OFF, ON  = 9600 baud.

Driver Specific settings

Identity: This is the address of the connected device(1-255). This value corresponds to DIP-switch settings in the connected device.
Movement,
Picture Speed:
This is the maximum speed used with click-in-picture movement. This speed depends on the distance from the center of the image - the further away from the center the higher the speed becomes, and reaches its maximum value at the edge of the picture.
Movement,
Picture Time:
This is the time between the start and the stop commands for a click-in-picture movement. This time is independent of where in the picture you click.
Movement,
Move Speed:
The Speed used when one of the 8-arrow buttons are clicked and when the CGI commands "rpan" and "rtilt" are used.
Movement,
Move Time:
This value is the time it takes for the dome to move one degree at the speed given above. Used when one of the 8-arrow buttons are clicked and when the CGI commands "rpan" and "rtilt" are used.
Zoom, Time: The maximum time for a zoom move, used when you click the ends of the relative zoom bar. If you click closer to the center the time will be scaled to reflect this, i.e the further from the center you click, the longer the time used. This also affects the "rzoom" cgi-command.
Focus, Time: The maximum time for a focus move, used when you click the ends of the relative focus bar. If you click closer to the center, the time will be scaled to reflect this. i.e the further from the center you click, the longer the time used. This also affects the "rfocus" cgi-command.
Iris, Time: The maximum time for an iris move, used when you click the ends of the relative iris bar. If you click closer to the center, the time will be scaled to reflect this, i.e the further from the center you click, the longer the time used. This also affects the "riris" cgi-command.
