Dip switches settings

For baudrate settings or returning to factory default setting proceed as follows:
  1. Switch off power to the unit.
  2. Set the dipswitch as described below (0 = OFF, 1 = ON).
  3. Switch on the power to the unit (the settings is saved when power is applied to the unit).
SW1: "01011000" Return to factory default settings:
WV-CS850A/854A = 19200 baud, 8N1
WV-CS850/854      =   9600 baud, 8N1
SW1: "10111000" 19200 baud, 8N1
SW1: "01111000" 9600 baud, 8N1
SW1: "11111000" 4800 baud, 8N1

For settings of unit number (Identity) proceed as follows:

  1. Switch off power to the unit.
  2. Set the dipswitch as described below (0 = OFF, 1 = ON).
  3. Switch on the power to the unit.
SW1: "bbbbbbb1" The "bbbbbbb1" is the binary representation of the unit number with the least significant bit to the left (valid range is 1 - 95).
Example:
"10000001" = unit number 1, "01000001" = unit number 2.

For RS485 settings (termination and half/full duplex), proceed as follows:

  1. Switch off power to the unit.
  2. Set the dipswitch as described below (0 = OFF, 1 = ON).
  3. Switch on the power to the unit.

Note! The last unit on a RS485 bus should be terminated.

SW2: "1111" Switch SW2:1 (left most switch) selects termination.
Set SW2:1  = "1" for the last unit on the RS485 bus (set to "0" for the other units).

SW2:2-SW2:4 selects half/full duplex
Set SW2:2-SW2:4 = "111" (half duplex).
(SW2:2-SW2:4 = "000" selects full duplex).

Driver Specific settings

Identity: This is the address of the connected device (1-95, 999). This corresponds to DIP-switch settings inside the connected device. Setting the address = 999 will broadcast the commands to all devices regardless the settings of the internal DIP-switch inside the devices. Make sure all devices are of the same Type when setting address = 999.
Type: Selects whether the connected camera is a WV-CS850/854 or a WV-CS850A/854A.
Movement,
Picture Speed:
This is the maximum speed used with click-in-picture movement, the speed used for a click-in-picture movement depends of the distance from the center of the image, the further away from the center the higher the speed becomes and reaches its maximum value on the edge of the picture.
Movement,
Picture Time:
This is the time between the start and the stop commands for a click-in-picture movement, this time is independents of where in the picture you click.
Movement,
Move Speed:
The Speed used when one of the 8-arrow buttons are clicked and when the cgi commands "rpan" and "rtilt" are used.
Movement,
Move Time:
This value is the time it takes for the dome to move one degree at the speed given above, used when one of the 8-arrow buttons are clicked and when the cgi commands "rpan" and "rtilt" are used.
Zoom, Time: The maximum time for a zoom move, used when you click the ends of the relative zoom bar. If you click closer to the center the time will be scaled to reflect this i.e the further from the center you click the longer the time used, also affects the "rzoom" cgi-command.
Focus, Time: The maximum time for a focus move, used when you click the ends of the relative focus bar. If you click closer to the center the time will be scaled to reflect this i.e the further from the center you click the longer the time used, also affects the "rfocus" cgi-command.
Iris, Time: The maximum time for a iris move, used when you click the ends of the relative iris bar. If you click closer to the center the time will be scaled to reflect this i.e the further from the center you click the longer the time used, also affects the "riris" cgi-command.
