The 12-pin I/O Terminal Block located on the rear panel includes an RS-485 interface.
Pin Function
11 RS-485 - A (non-inverting) 
A half-duplex RS-485 interface for controlling auxiliary equipment, e.g. PTZ devices
12 RS-485 - B (inverting)

Notes: An 120 ohm termination resistor is required between the RS-485 wires at each end of the cable.
*RS-485 = Green connector


AXIS 250S
The 4-pole I/O-B connector located on the rear panel includes RS-485/422 interface.
Pin Function
3 RS-485/422 - A (non-inverting)
4 RS-485/422 - B (inverting)
A half-duplex RS-485/422 interface for controlling auxiliary equipment

Notes: An 120 ohm termination resistor is required between the RS-485 wires at each end of the cable.
