France Prune installs Axis video encoders to monitor its 3 sites

Thanks to the Axis network video, Uni-Sat is replacing analog to be more efficient as a cyber guardian

Mission

France Prune is involved in the traditional culture and marketing of the Agen prune and in the purchase and sale of dried and soft fruit in France and Europe. The Uni-Sat company is in charge of video surveillance and security for its three operating sites. Previously an analog system, the video system had to evolve in order to improve performance and reliability.

Solution

Uni-Sat has video encoders present at the different sites where analog cameras are deployed to digitalize the analog video signals and send the images over an IP network. AXIS Q7406 and AXIS M7001 Video Encoders were installed, as well as an AXIS Q6032 Dome Network Camera and 2 AXIS 291 1U Racks.

Result

Today, 4 “cyber-operators“ work around the clock to view real-time images and react according to the preestablished instructions with France Prune.
