Financial institutions: How it can be done
Used for generally monitoring an ATM or within specific applications that take face-on still images of visitors withdrawing cash, separate image files of each cash transaction can be stored onto a central database. In the event of a suspected fraud, images for any transaction in question can be recalled from the database and used as photographic evidence in a court of law. Although primarily used as a domain for public information, the Internet can also be used for transferring of all types of sensitive information – provided the correct security measures, such as firewalls, and password protection are applied.
