Construction site: How it can be done

By setting up a network camera at a construction job site, clients can view the project’s progress from the convenience of their desktop. Since the Axis network camera includes a Web server, no computer is required for the connection at the job site.

The client can easily access a live image of the construction project by typing a specified address into the Web browser. This set-up also makes it possible for personnel who are not on site to remotely view the progress of the project.

In addition, the network camera can be set up to regularly store images on a file server at the construction company for later viewing. Each image will include a timestamp and be designated a unique file name. The image rate can be set to any value up to the limit of the available bandwidth, such as five times a day or once per second.
