Axis Communications’ Academy

Axis is pleased to introduce the Axis Communications’ Academy program, which goal is to educate and inform about different aspects of IP-Surveillance. The Academy consists of a number of different levels, starting at an introductory level and going on to higher levels with more specialized topics.

Level 1 - Introduction to IP-Surveillance is the first training for our Authorized Partners and will focus on different application areas but will also give an overview of topics like designing a network, compression standard and optics. There will be hands-on exercises throughout the training. The content is of technical nature and is therefore targeting sales engineers, technical sales support, technicians and business development both from an IT background and a CCTV background. Level 1 course agenda

Level 2 - Deploying IP surveillance solutions goes deeper into technical details
on aspects like network design for different types of applications, software solutions and calculation of optics & bandwidth. This training is targeting distributors and resellers with some experience of network cameras and network video in general. It is designed mainly for partners with a prior IT/networking background, participants with security background will however benefit from many of the sessions. The typical participants are sales engineers and technicians. A prerequisite for participation in Level 2 is previous participation in Axis Academy Level 1. Level 2 course agenda
