With Axis-compatible applications you can meet specific end user needs by adding functionality to your Axis network video products. Typical applications include intelligent video applications that provide the cameras and encoders with capabilities based on e.g. recognition, tracking, detection and counting.

The applications can be downloaded and installed on all Axis products with support for AXIS Camera Application Platform.

How does it work

The applications are developed by Axis’ application development partners and are ready to be embedded in the camera or encoder. Placing the application directly in the product – "at the edge" – helps to build more cost-effective surveillance systems.
