Bluetoothâ„¢ wireless printing: How?

When an AXIS 5810 Print Plug is attached to a printer or copier, the Axis server instantly gives the printer/copier the added capability of receiving commands via Bluetoothâ„¢ wireless technology.

Laptops, PDAs and mobile phones enabled with Bluetooth wireless technology can then print wirelessly (from a distance of up to 10 meters/30 feet in open air, or up to 5 meters/15 feet within a building) to the printer/copier.

Bluetooth printing -- as easy as 1, 2, 3:

1. Easy installation

Simply plug the palm-sized AXIS 5810 Print Plug into the parallel port of a printer or copier.

2. Print file...
Select the item you want to print from your Bluetooth-enabled mobile device and click "Print" or "Send". Your mobile device scans the surroundings for Bluetooth-enabled printers/copiers and presents a list. Select one.

3. Pick up printout
The item is sent wirelessly to the printer/copier and ready for pick up.
