How to easily have employees submit copies of receipts after a business trip:
CASE:
Back at work after a business trip, an employee has a pile of receipts to sort. Instead of having the employee fill out a report and submit all the receipts--which you will then need to process, have the process automated from the start.

SOLUTION:
Have your company create a workflow process that involves attaching an AXIS 70U Network Document Server to a scanner. Have the scanner programmed so that it prompts users to input information depending on the task. In this case, Travel Expenses. With prompts, the program can ask the user to enter name, departure and arrival days and purpose of the trip. Then all the user has to do is scan all the hotel bills, credit cards slips and tickets etc. That's it. No more forms to fill in or receipts to photocopy.

Since all scanned documents would be sent over the network and summarized automatically, the HR department no longer has to manually process the files. An e-mail, with all the documents attached as PDF files, can be sent automatically to the user's manager for an approval. Upon approval, money can be quickly transferred into the user's bank account.

Send invoices electronically:
CASE:
Your customer in another country has an accounting policy allowing and encouraging electronic invoicing. However, your financial policies forces you to print hard copies of each invoice, and it is not possible to create electronic copies of the invoices in the account software that you have.

SOLUTION:
With an Axis network document server attached to a scanner device, you can scan the invoices and e-mail the copy to your customer.
