Axis provides system-on-chips, complete device server platforms and a freely available software distribution based on Linux. Online documentation, reference design and world-wide developer community is also part of the offering.
Long-term strategic directions
Over the years Axis has offered the AXIS ETRAX family of system-on-chips to the market.
Due to our long-term strategic direction to grow the network video market, we have changed focus
in our coming future chip roadmap. The current ETRAX family of chips will be the last
one commercially offered to the market.
Future generations will be targeted for the network video market and will not be publicly available.
Axis will not offer any replacement product/chip to the ETRAX family/device servers.
