Main window

The main window provides an overview of all devices in the system, with information about device model, name, address, status, serial number and firmware version.

Devices that need attention are listed under Warnings/Errors. To organize devices, user-defined tags can be added to them. Tags can for example be added according to model or location. The main window gives access to all management operations, IP address assignment, firmware upgrade, application upload, parameter configuration and device management operations.

Assign IP address

The IP address in a device may need to be changed for various reasons, e.g. when configuring a device for the first time. 

AXIS Camera Management allows easy assignment and change of IP addresses. You can set the IP address manually, or suggest available IP addresses from a specified range to speed up the process of assigning the IP address in multiple devices.

Specify the IP address for one device at at a time, or enter a range of IP addresses.

Configure devices

With AXIS Camera Management you can configure one or many devices at a time. You can save parameter values in a template that can be applied on several devices.

Select which parameters you want to configure. Use search to find parameters easily.

Upgrade multiple Axis video products with new firmware

Axis video products/devices of different models can easily be upgraded in sequence or in parallel. Select which firmware you want to upgrade your device to, and click the Download button. Firmware is automatically matched with the camera model.

Upgrade firmware in multiple devices in Parallel to reduce the time required, or choose Sequence to have fewer devices offline when upgrading.

Download compatible applications

You can download any Axis-compatible application to your devices using AXIS Camera Management. You then match the license key file to the correct camera.
