AXIS Power over Ethernet Midspans & Splitter A PoE active splitter is needed to provide power and data over Ethernet Cat 5 cable for this non-PoE enabled Axis video product. Midspans use the spare pairs in a standard Cat 5 network cable to supply power to PoE-enabled products. Axis PoE Midspans are available in 1, 8 and 16-port versions.

AXIS MPEG-4 Decoder 10 user license pack MPEG-4 is licensed technology. The network camera includes one viewing client license only. If MPEG-4 multicast is used, the number of viewers is unlimited, but each viewer still needs a separate MPEG-4 decoder license.  Installing additional unlicensed copies of the viewing client is prohibited.
