System overview
The schematics shows a typical installation using the AXIS 216FD-V.
Loudspeaker and microphone: Give instructions, orders or provide help by connecting a loudspeaker to the camera. Record sound, listen to what is happening, activate an audio alarm.
Relay: Use a relay to send alarms via the camera or turn on the lights on alarms.
PCs: Monitor, record and play back video from a PC with video management software. Monitor the camera via a standard PC on the network – LAN, WAN or the Internet.
UPS: Optionally secure power to the cameras and recording system by using Power over Ethernet and an Uninterruptible Power Supply.
