AXIS 5800+ Mobile

High performance print servers that make your daily work easier

The AXIS 5800+ Mobile is a unique print server that enables printers* and copiers to print in both wireless, as well as traditional wired (LAN) environments.

The AXIS 5800+ Mobile offers users of laptops, PDAs and mobile phones (enabled with Bluetooth™ wireless technology) the convenience of printing without wires or network configuration. At the same time, it provides efficient routing of printing activities from LAN networked users in all network environments.

Operating details

Wireless supports:
Laptop users should install the supplied AXIS Wireless Printing Utility software to receive the easiest user interface for printing with Bluetooth wireless technology. Printing is then as simple as clicking "Print", selecting from a list of Bluetooth-enabled printers/copiers, and then picking up the printout.

The AXIS 5800+ also works with:

	Toshiba laptops with built-in Bluetooth wireless technology
	PC cards supporting the Bluetooth Software Suite (Toshiba, Motorola, IBM, Dell or NEC) Any device supporting the Serial Bluetooth Profile (e.g. PC cards from TDK, Xircom, 3Com, HP)
	Ericsson Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones (e.g. T68, T39, R520)

LAN features:
AXIS 5800+ Mobile has the same features as the latest firmware for AXIS 5400+ and AXIS 5600+:

Safe Flash loading for firmware upgrades via Web interface
