Installation Options
NetPilot will treat a print server that has been previously installed using
another installation utility, such as NetWare PConsole, as a new unit. However
you can make NetPilot accept the print server by clicking the '
with current configuration' button.
Select one of the two options:
with Installation Wizard - used to install a new print server. When you click the OK button the Installation Wizard will start and you will be guided through the
installation process, step by step. If you choose this option for a print
server that has already been installed, the new settings that you enter via the
Wizard will replace the existing parameters.
with current configuration - used to make NetPilot accept a previously installed Network Print Server
without changing its configuration parameters. When you click the OK button you will return to the main window - the selected print server will
now be shown in the Network Print Servers folder. If you select this option for a
new print server, the factory default settings will be used and no print
queues will be created - this is unlikely to be a satisfactory installation.
