CloseDay & Night

CloseSpecify field of view

This option finds cameras that meet your specifications for scene height/width and camera distance. For cameras with varifocal or zoom lenses, the selection is made based on the focal length that provides the widest field of view.

Drag the Distance from camera slider to select the distance from the camera to the scene you wish to cover. Then drag the Scene height and/or Scene width sliders to set the size of the scene.

Note that for cameras with varifocal or zoom lenses, the selection is made based on the focal length that provides the widest field of view.

CloseSpecify resolution

This option finds cameras that meet your specifications for minimum resolution and camera distance. For cameras with varifocal or zoom lenses, the selection is made based on the focal length that provides the most narrow field of view.

Select the minimum required resolution, then drag the Distance from camera slider to select the distance from the camera to the object you want to observe.

Note that some cameras can use an accessory lens to provide the required resolution at greater distances. These will not be shown in the selection.
