Q: What are the benefits of network cameras?
A:
Network cameras have better image quality, no hard resolution limits and are easier to install thanks to support of Power over Ethernet. For more information see:
Benefits of network video surveillance.
Q: How does the Axis hosted video work ?
A:
You simply connect the cameras to your network and sign up with an Axis Video Service Provider. The cameras are then immediately available for viewing and recording over the Internet. At work, at home or on the road - you can log in to the service portal everywhere you have access to
Internet. More information: AXIS Video Hosting System
Q: Where can I find an Axis Video Service Provider?
A:
See current Axis Video Service

| download/upload | 320x240 | 640x480 | 320x240 | 640x480 | |
| Slow ADSL | 521kbit/256kbit | 1 | 0 | 1 to 5 | 1 to 2 |

| Fast fibre** | 1000Mbit/100Mbit | 1 to 10 | 1 to 10 | 1 to 10 | 1 to 10 |
| Note:
All calculations are based on 5 fps with Motion
JPEG. * The number of events triggered will impact on the number of cameras possible. ** With a fast connection, more cameras are possible. For more than 10 cameras, additional accounts is recommended. |

that don't belong to them.
Q: I have lost my OAK. Where can I get a new one?
A:
Please contact your video service provider who can help you register.
