Course objectives:

After completing the course, participants will understand:

  • What network audio systems are and how they can solve challenges that analog audio systems cannot
  • Concepts like frequency, sound pressure, decibel (dB), background noise and sound quality, and their relevance to audio system planning
  • The essentials of designing network audio systems, from site surveys and calculating speaker coverage to completing design plans in available design tools
  • How to set up and configure network audio systems
  • How to manage network audio systems with available Axis audio management suites or plugins for other network system-management suites

Who should attend:

For professionals in the network video surveillance and audio industries.

Prerequisites:

To get the most out of the training, you need to have an understanding of IP networks. We recommend that you take the online course Introduction to network audio before attending this course. Basic Microsoft Visio skills are also recommended for the design workshop.
