Course description:

This course uses hands-on exercises with AXIS Site Designer to teach you how to design a network video surveillance system that takes into consideration surveillance goals, camera placement, light levels, and video analytics apps. You will get to know the tools Axis offers to facilitate the design process, learn how to use VAPIX commands for communication with and between Axis products, and understand how to handle physical sabotage and cyber threats. Examples of sites covered include a convenience store, a school, and a car dealership.
