Course description:

The AXIS Object Analytics simulation is a 70-minute online course. The scope of the course is to familiarize and accelerate the expertise of the learner through simulated task performance with the GUI. It is a new simulation, first launched (March 2024).

 

The primary drivers of this new course are:

  • Provide prerequisite training for Discover AXIS Object Analytics
  • Provide an introductory training on the GUI
  • Provide a just in time job aid for information out in the field
  • Gaps in partner awareness of some capabilities of AOA

Course outline:

By the end of this tutorial you will be able to:

  • Start and open analytics in the cameras GUI
  • Create scenarios including: object in area, line crossing, time in area, crossline counting, and occupancy in area
  • Modify an existing scenario
  • Adjust virtual line or area
  • Select classification of objects
  • Calibrate the perspective to avoid false alarms
  • Add burnt-in metadata overlays to video streams
  • Set up rules for events including: record video when an object gets detected and a human stays too long in an area or send an email when 100 vehicles have passed
  • Create include and exclude areas
  • Set up alarms in AXIS Camera Station
  • Integration of counting data
