Images with different depth of field Right
image offers superior DOF. Lots of light enables
a small iris opening. The village is far from
the camera and although a wide angle lens is not
used, a great result is achieved.
|
Depth of field at its best will offer
clear focused details from a few meters in the foreground
and up to hundreds of meters of clear background.
DOF is governed by;
-
Iris opening of lens. A small opening
maximizes DOF
-
Distance between camera and focusing
point. Objects at a distance offer better DOF.
-
Focal length of lens. A wide angle
lens offers better DOF compared to a telephoto lens.
