Axis signs global supply agreement with Honeywell

Axis Communications has signed a worldwide supply agreement with Honeywell Inc covering network video products for advanced surveillance solutions. The order value for Axis is estimated at about 2.75 million Euros the first year.

Through the agreement Honeywell Automation and Control Solutions will make Axis' products available throughout Honeywell's entire product sourcing structure. Together the two companies have already delivered security and surveillance solutions to a number of customers around the world, among others to a penitentiary in New Zealand.

Honeywell joined Axis' Application Development Partner program in 2001 and today offers a broad range of security, surveillance and control solutions based on Axis' network video technology.
