Axis signs agreement with Toshiba Benelux for Bluetooth(TM) print plugs

Axis Communications has signed an agreement with Toshiba Benelux for the delivery of Bluetooth* print plugs that will be bundled with Toshiba's Bluetooth network cards in the Benelux. The forecasted order value for the first year is approximately 110,000 Euros.

Axis continues to strengthen the relationship with Toshiba. Together the two companies have already introduced a number of solutions for effective printing. In this new agreement, Axis' print plug 5810 has been selected as the only solution for wireless printing over the Bluetooth protocol to be bundled together with Toshiba's PCMCIA and SD Bluetooth cards for laptops and pocket PCs. The AXIS 5810 instantly transforms standard printers/copiers into wireless printing stations, enabling mobile professionals to print from Bluetooth-enabled laptops and mobile phones.

The bundled solutions will be available through Toshiba's sales channels in The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg as of today.
