Research & DevelopmentThis department works with identification and development of Axis future products as well as long term technology development within five areas: Encoding, Imaging, Network, Vision and SoC. Product ManagementThe responsibilities of this department are product strategies, positioning, product steering, pricing, prognostics, technical support and Pre Sales and competition coverage. OperationsOperations is comprised of the functions connected to Axis maintenance chain: procurement, production, logistics (transport), quality, warehousing and distribution for our products to our sales offices as well as to our customers all over the world. The department is also responsible for our premises and buildings. |
Our other departments
Apart from our core areas, we have a number of support functions. Information Systems works with Axis internal IT support: infrastructure, systems and on line services. The department is divided into two teams; The IT department is responsible for server operations and international infrastructure and an E-business department develops systems and services from Web solutions to ERP-systems. Here you find System Administrators, Developers, Coordinators and Web Designers etc.
Our Sales and Marketing Department make our products and services visible and available on the market. Here you find Sales Managers, Key Account Managers, Sales and Marketing coordinators and ADP Engineers.
We also have a department mainly intended for the home and small business market, where Axis together with telecom operators offers camera surveillance services.
Our financial department includes Controllers, Accounting Assistants etc. Finally our Human Resource department, where we have HR Specialists and HR Coordinators.
