Axis’ product name convention

During the launch of new Axis products 2009, a new strategy for naming products was also introduced. In an Axis product name, such as “AXIS Q6032-E PTZ Dome Network Camera”, the second part of the name (“Q6032-E”) actually tells a story of the product’s capabilities.
